What I Lug Around to Feel Professionally Valid

This is the gear I actually use. Not the fantasy gear I put in my cart at 3AM. Not the stuff I unboxed once and then emotionally ghosted. This is what shows up to work with me — filming YouTube reviews, photographing real humans, and guiding aurora tours through the frozen void of Alaska.

Sigma 28–70mm f/2.8 DG DN

Shockingly compact and still weather-sealed, which is a rare combo for a lens at this size and price. Also matches the 67mm thread gang — I’m convinced someone at Sigma did that just to be nice. Perfect for event coverage and wide-to-tight establishing sequences.
